Makana Provisions started by selling Axis deer venison out of a pickup truck, but today, we distribute high-quality meats through Y. Hata, Chef Zone, and King Meats. Committed to sustainability, we work with local ranchers, harvesters, and hunters to provide pasture-raised beef and wild venison while operating a Food Hub on Oahu to bring fresh, local products to market.
Our meats are always hormone- and antibiotic-free, sourced from ranchers managing over 3,000 cattle across 4,000 acres of Hawaii pastureland. Through regenerative grazing, we restore soil, store carbon, and protect marine ecosystems. As we expand into more retailers and restaurants, look for the Makana and Hapa logo.
